Why I want to be part of the Creatives in Schools programme and how my involvement will link to my creative practice
As a solo parent of a neurodiverse child, and watching my year 13 drama class devise pieces about asking for help, I despaired at the lack of cognitive knowledge being passed on to these kids; knowledge that could enable them to empower themselves by building mental resilience and critical skills.
