I am an experienced facilitator of many aspects of Te Ao Māori, including; Te Reo, Tikanga, Kapa Haka Kapa Hauora, Mau Rākau, Taru Waewae, Taonga Puoro, Kāmu Māori. I design cultural development programmes for schools that focus on bicultural embedding and growing kaupapa Māori within mainstream educative environments.

I have immense experience working with tamariki and rangatahi.

Why I want to be part of the Creatives in Schools programme and how my involvement will link to my creative practice

I have been approached by various schools looking to grow and strengthen biculturalism within their kura and communities. My passion is to utilise Māori pedagogical practices contained within Ngā Toi Māori to empower tamariki and rangatahi to achieve their full potential within an Aotearoa New Zealand context.
