Our school is currently consulting with Iwi for local curriculum development and collecting stories. This project will be one way to share this mahi with whānau.
Our creative will work with the teacher to map the delivery of a series of workshops covering varied topics such as:
• Story co-design and digital storytelling,
• 2D digital art production,
• AR content prototyping,
• Design and production pipelines.
The aim of this project is to engage the students in an authentic learning experience that they can proudly share with their whānau and the community. Kōrero pūrākau enables us to retain, reflect on, and understand our experiences. As part of the local curriculum, it will initially focus on the environment directly surrounding our school and the stories of our past. This will give the students the opportunity to share their learning in a way that is new and exciting.
