Project name: Circus Fun
Project information: This project will provide fun, creative and physical learning activities for the school. Circus teaches not just tricks that build physical coordination and allow youth to creatively express themselves, but also teamwork, communication, determination and confidence. In this project they will be teaching a range of different props including juggling, flower sticks, hula hoop and poi.
At the end of the term, students will produce a show for friends and whānau to attend. They will have the choice to develop their own act (either individually or as a small group) or be part of the class acts performing a choreography that showcases the techniques learned in the programme.
