Island Bay School
Region: Wellington
Art form: Multi-Disciplinary / Print-making
Project name: Personalised Printmaking
Project information: Our creative aim is to use the medium of print to create a body of work related to the students personal inquiries. Reggio advocates for the use of the 100 languages of the child and the importance of students working with their hands and body. This personalised print project will connect these ideas to students, driving their learning connected to a passion, alongside developing a new skill which will help them share their understanding.
Due to the nature of printmaking and connecting it to a personal inquiry, each body of work will reflect the individual child. There are opportunities for students to explore the visual arts curriculum in an immersive way.
Project starting: July 2021
