My arts or creative practice (including details about my specific focus within that art form/practice and my strengths)

Sculptor, painter. A long-time practitioner with many exhibitions and several public sculptures. A particular love of watercolour painting and concrete poetry.

My track record of experience and success - or the track record of experience and success of the creative or artist that I will partner with

I have a Bfa. Hons. Dip mgt. I have been displayed in many public exhibitions and my work is held in various collections including sculptures displayed in several Auckland Hamilton locations.

Describe the experience you have had working with children or young people, teaching or facilitating creative processes

I have two years teaching sculpture practice at a Society of Arts and one year delivery of art theory at an art school. I have run various public workshops on a number of themes.

Why I want to be part of the Creatives in Schools programme and how my involvement will link to my creative practice

I would like to offer a programme that takes students to a place where creative self-direction becomes a generator of visual communication. An artist visited my school and offered madly exciting ways of seeing and interacting with the world, I would like to pass on this kind of foundation.
