Describe the experience you have had working with children or young people, teaching or facilitating creative processes

I have taught young people circus arts for over fifteen years. I have established two circus schools and developed the corresponding curricula for each one. Additionally, I have produced and directed and produce numerous shows involving young people on, and off-stage.

Why I want to be part of the Creatives in Schools programme and how my involvement will link to my creative practice

This is a prime opportunity to further develop my passion for incorporating Circus Arts within mainstream school curriculum. Circus Arts is unique in that it bridges sports and theatre, and can provide a great model for students who dont quite fit into either. Or are looking for an alternative means to explore fitness and creativity.
