These three senior Visual Arts units, written by Helen Cooper, integrate new aspects of the curriculum with learning sequences, tasks, and assessment opportunities associated with Achievement Standards. The units have been prepared using the NCEA Interactive Unit Planner .
Each unit has two parts:
- a teacher section, which explores curriculum objectives and guidance for the teaching and learning sequence
- a student section, containing activity instructions and information required for NCEA assessment.
The content and layout of these units can be changed, borrowed, or adapted to suit the needs of your students and learning programme. For example, you may wish to select a single key competency or value as a focus.
