Circle, Triangle, Square Teach the students 3 different body shapes on 3 different levels to represent each shape. Low: A circle = curl into a tiny ball Medium: A square = 2 hands and 2 feet on the floor in a square shape High: A triangle = standing up with hands on hips Guided by instructions from the teacher, students move around the room to music. When the music stops, the teacher holds up one of the shape cards and the students quickly make the shape.Extension: Mark each of the shapes out on the floor (as big as possible) with cones and the students have to run into the appropriate one and make their shape. For example, "Square". The students run into the square and bend over with 2 hands and 2 feet on the floor.
