Creativity in Art

A stimulating course to get the children inspired while giving them confidence and know how on a vast range of techniques, materials and ideas that will make them extremely enthusiastic for their sortie into the world of art, and get them excited to get stuck in to their next masterpieces. The children can produce a painting in a 4hr lesson and go on with great confidence to produce amazing results. Children have an amazing capacity to take in all sorts of things and to listen and produce great art. I was truly amazed by the paintings produced by 7 year olds at Pinehurst School Garrett has been painting for more than 50 years and his works have covered a wide variety of subjects, media and styles ranging from traditional through impressionist to abstract and believes fervently in experimental work to expand artistic frontiers. Born in England in 1939, Garrett was educated in art at Liverpool College of Art, and in architecture at Liverpool John Moores University and Sheffield University Schools of Architecture. He is a Member of the Chartered Society of Designers ( Product Design ) His work in Architecture, Art and Product Design has gained numerous awards during this time, and is held in collections in New Zealand, Australia, USA., France, ,Italy, UK, Dubai and Quatar He now devotes his time totally to painting whenever possible, with only occasional troubleshooting in forays into Construction although his paintings do still often reflect his background in architecture and construction.
