Mark Making

Half Day or Full Day session - or by arrangement Students will be given the skills to develop painting skills through mark making with a variety of utensils. eg, pencils, pastels, sticks, brushes, paper, sponges, scalpels - in fact anything we find! Timed studies of still life presentations, and a variety of media - ink, acrylic, charcoal etc. A fun workshop to free the young artist, and improve expression and emotion.

BA (hons) Textile Design, PGCE Design and Technology.
Fully registered NZ Secondary School Teacher. I have worked full time as Teacher of Technology up to NCEA L3 including Achievement Standards.
Member of the Fibre Arts group, Hamilton.
Exhibiting work and performing workshops at Twin Rivers Art Gallery, Ngaruawahia.
Trained handloom and Jacquard weaver, and Textile Artist, exploring art in textile form.
I love all types of printing, dye effects, multi media collage.
Surface Pattern, repeat patterns, applied design - a speciality.
