Introduction to Musical theatre

An introduction to the exciting world of Musical Theatre incorporating Vocals,Choreography,Performance. This 3 hour workshop will consist of learning two songs from the Repertoire appropriate to the age-group. Then simple choreography will be taught by a talented and qualified dance teacher and then the two disciplines put together. Learning outcome will be performance of two Musical Theatre numbers incorporating song and dance. Outcome: - A terrific sense of satisfaction by all who take part.

Qualifications

Musical Direction for community Theatre in Auckland and Palmerston North over the the last 20 years

Qualified teacher of Piano and Theory

Currently employed as the Vocal tutor at the Apollo Theatre School, devising and implementing the Vocal component of a two year Diploma in Musical Theatre

Worked as an itinerant teacher of Piano in many schools in Auckland
