My arts or creative practice (including details about my specific focus within that art form/practice and my strengths)

I have worked in schools in Christchurch doing creative arts and events. I'm now living in Wellington trying to set things up here. I have just finished doing some amazing work with Unicef as well. I've also done dance in schools.

My track record of experience and success - or the track record of experience and success of the creative or artist that I will partner with

I ran Breakmission four times over the last five years, with around 400 people there. Creative arts programmes as well getting kids to paint the community. I have worked with youth for over eight years as well.

Describe the experience you have had working with children or young people, teaching or facilitating creative processes

I have worked in a boys' school in Christchurch for over two years doing mentoring programmes for ages 13-15. I was a youth facilitator for the community for around five years being in most schools as well doing dance and creating events within the schools. I’ve worked with all ages from 5-15.

Why I want to be part of the Creatives in Schools programme and how my involvement will link to my creative practice

I’ve always been a big believer in the Creative arts. It saved me when I was in school and gives our people a voice to stand up for themselves.
