I have been an intermediate art teacher for 14 years. Since 2016 I have worked on my own art and creative development. I am on Facebook. I have a post graduate certificate in visual arts education. Visual art is a passion of mine and I enjoy passing on knowledge and skills to students of all ages.

I have personal sales both from my Facebook page and work in local shops. I have had success in my teaching over the years.
Describe the experience you have had working with children or young people, teaching or facilitating creative processes
As already mentioned I have taught intermediate for 14 years. I am currently doing relieving in both primary and secondary schools. This involves a focus in the visual arts.
Why I want to be part of the Creatives in Schools programme and how my involvement will link to my creative practice
I believe that the arts are an integral part of education. It develops imagination, creativity and taking risks. All of which are important in all learning areas, but through the arts it supports this learning in other areas.
